Banned Books Week brings together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular.

The following libraries have joined Books Unbanned as crucial partners in defending and expanding the freedom to read. This program allows young people across America to register for a free digital library card and access many banned and challenged books.
